i saw you one night
through gauzey light
the feeling of you
had my heart in flight
familiar to me
and yet unknown
the land of dreams
can feel like home
while slumber wraps me
soft and warm
ghosts of dreams
haunt the dawn
as sleep fades
to routine of morn
but like a worn photograph
in pockets unseen
my heart carries you
like more than a dream
tho my mind has forgotten
as times slips by
the feeling of something
when i look in your eye
it happened today
tho not quite a dream
your picture, a photo
sat staring at me
the world of ether
and dreams collide
and so you are real
outside of my mind
but will you remember
that hazey dream, too
and reach across space
so dreams may come true
